According to leading journalist Fabrizio Romano, Klopp has accepted to take over as Germany’s new head coach, following the departure of Julian Nagelsmann.
Klopp left Liverpool at the end of the 2023-24 campaign, taking a break from management.
The 59-year-old spent nine years at Liverpool, winning the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup and two League Cups.
Nagelsmann stepped down from the German national team, following their round of 32 defeat to Paraguay.
