The 47-year-old took charge of 432 Premier League matches, two FA Cup finals, a League Cup final, the 2015 Community Shield and the 2018 Championship play-off final.
Taylor also officiated on the international stage, officiating at the 2022 and 2026 World Cups and the 2020 and 2024 European Championships.
Taylor’s last game officiating was the round of 16 World Cup tie between Portugal and eventual winners Spain.
