Oasis are back.
After 15 years of beef, broken guitars and broken dreams, Liam and Noel Gallagher finally shared a stage again — and critics are calling their Cardiff comeback the stuff of rock and roll legend.
🧨 Five-star reviews? Across the board.
The Independent called it “the rock reunion to end them all”, declaring the Manc lads “the best they’ve been since ‘96 – or maybe better.” Even the sight of the famously feuding brothers side-by-side was described as “heartwarming closure.”
The Guardian dubbed the gig a “triumph”, loving the setlist stacked with Definitely Maybe and (What’s the Story) Morning Glory? classics — plus cult B-sides like “The Masterplan” and “Acquiesce” that hit fans right in the feels.
“This wasn’t just a reunion gig. It was a reunion between Britain and rock and roll.” – The Telegraph
🦁 Liam’s still got that bite
BBC’s Mark Savage said Liam hit the stage “like a lion tearing into its prey”, with vocals “fresh and powerful” despite past health issues.
Noel? He looked like “a man trying to remember his National Insurance number”, but still — totally magnetic.
Even the hug at the end (yes, a hug) had The Times emotional:
“They didn’t speak much… but that quick hug means the world.”
⚡ Highlights:
- Cardiff felt “more like a World Cup final than a gig”
- NME said: “Oasis 2025 is everything you wanted — cool, loud, f**ing amazing”*
- Liam’s voice? “Best it’s sounded in 20 years”
Next stop: Manchester, Heaton Park, July 11.
It’s happening. It’s loud. And it’s mad fer it.
