Nicolas Jackson’s Bayern Munich move collapses after Chelsea injury crisis

Chelsea have pulled the plug on Nicolas Jackson’s loan move to Bayern Munich after Liam Delap was ruled out for up to eight weeks with a hamstring injury.

Jackson, who had already landed in Germany ahead of a proposed £56m loan-to-buy deal, is said to be furious with the late U-turn.

The collapse leaves Bayern without their targeted striker and Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca relying on Joao Pedro as his only fit No.9, following Christopher Nkunku’s £36m switch to AC Milan.

The decision came after a fiery 2-0 win over Fulham, where refereeing calls sparked outrage from Marco Silva.

Window closes Monday night — and this saga just blew up.
