Liverpool Ready to Let Chiesa Leave Amid Serie A Interest

Liverpool winger Federico Chiesa looks set for a return to Italy this summer, with the club not expected to block his departure.

The 27-year-old has struggled to find form and playing time since his move to Anfield, and interest from Serie A is heating up. Napoli and Atalanta are reportedly leading the chase, with AC Milan and Bologna also monitoring the situation.

One source revealed Atalanta’s interest hinges on the potential €50m sale of Ademola Lookman, while Napoli are preparing a loan proposal with a €9m purchase option.

With Liverpool bolstering their attacking options this summer – including the arrivals of Florian Wirtz and Hugo Ekitike – Chiesa is now surplus to requirements under Arne Slot.

Though his spell at Liverpool hasn’t delivered, Chiesa’s pedigree from his Juventus days still holds appeal back home. Expect movement if one of the Italian clubs can meet Liverpool’s terms.
