Arsenal and England star ruled out for 2 months

Arsenal have been dealt another injury setback, with Noni Madueke ruled out for two months after suffering a knee injury in Sunday’s 1-1 draw against Manchester City.

The forward was forced off at half-time, and scans on Monday confirmed that, while he avoided an ACL rupture, he will still face a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

This adds to Mikel Arteta’s growing injury list, with Martin Ødegaard, Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus already unavailable. Madueke is now expected to miss at least 11 matches, including Premier League, Champions League, and potentially Carabao Cup fixtures.

The injury also means he’ll be sidelined for England’s next international window, and his involvement in November’s fixtures looks doubtful too — a blow for manager Thomas Tuchel as well.
